Week 32 - The Spirit sends
Theme:
After the resurrection and the ascension of Jesus He promises to give us His Spirit and connect us to Him: from Him, through Him and for Him.
What I may wish to ask:
That I may have the courage to live my life based on trust and faith in God’s Spirit and that I am able to feel that the Spirit also sends me.

Matthew 28: 16 – 20
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
Filled with a sense of purpose the disciples set off on their way. I may go with them to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. What does the way to that mountain look like? How am I feeling during the journey?
And then I see Jesus, who is standing there waiting for us: for me. How do I greet Him?
*
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Jesus has plans for us. He sends us back to our daily lives with an asignment and a promise. I listen to Him. What effect do His words have on me?
*
Together with the disciples we descend the mountain and return to the here and now of our daily lives. What do I take away with me form this holy place? What do I leave behind me?
