Week 28 - The new creation
Welcome in this meditation. I place myself before God (if I have not already done so). He is looking at me with tenderness. Am I already with Him?
Theme:
The theme today is the New Creation.
The full scale of what has happened to Jesus, who passed through death,
becomes slowly more visible as one experience builds on another.
He is risen!
Jesus takes me by the hand in order to encourage me to be a part of the New Creation: to a new way of looking at God, of looking at my life, of looking at others. Can I let Him take me with Him after His resurrection: on the way to a new way of looking at things?
What I may wish to ask:
That I can let Jesus lead me, one step at a time, along the way of discovering that new way of looking.

John 20, 19-22
On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews,
I take up a position sitting with the disciples. What is happening here? There is fear. Can I see that from their point of view? Can I feel the fear?
*
Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
Suddenly Jesus is there standing in the midst of his faithful friends. I look at his hands and I listen to his voice. What is happening with me when I do this?
Jesus says “Peace be with you”, not only to his disciples, but also to me. I hear his voice. How do I react?
*
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
The asignment which Jesus gives to his disciples is also given to me. How can I show that to others?
